[Dbix-class] Windows installation failure logs please

The AS bugs db shows a similar problem with DBI using ADO:

AS referred it back to perl RT for DBI or the DBD-ADO module. I haven't seen
similar problems reported for Linux so I'm not sure if it's a DBI or ASperl
issue.

Is that an AS 5.8.8 issue, rather than a module-specific issue? 

 

I've been using AS 5.8.8 for a month now, and frequently see the same XS
error, which I have yet to see on my various Unix 5.8.8's built from source.
