I had forgotten about this, thanks for reminding me.  ::DB2 has the
issue too, the PAUSE indexer reports failure on them both because of
it.  Some kind of parse failure when certain modules parse those .pms
looking for VERSION strings.

I've patched this in trunk now, patch is attached.  Maybe 0.14 will
index correctly :)
