second that Daniel. I runb engoi.com on an 80MB VM at bytemark.co.uk - very
happy with the service there too. (If you sign up, please say I passed you
on ...)
I really wouldn't want to be without root access. So many things you can't
do without it. Costs a bit more than cheap shared hosting, but you get a LOT
more.
