[Catalyst] Some Catalyst performance questions

Hello everyone,

1. Does anyone have any data on how much slower Catalyst runs under
mod_perl registry when compared to "true" mod_perl (i.e. as mod_perl
handler)?

2. Is it usual for pages that display lists of rows from the database
to become real slow when you're listing around a hundred items? (By
"real slow" I mean 2-3 seconds, which is slow for a single simple
request being processed, with no other loads on the server)

3. Can (1) associated with the fact that it's running under Win32 play
a major part in the issues mentioned in (2) ?
