I didn't condone "this kind of attitude" whatsoever, I was simply trying to
explain how Wade Stuart had got to the point of sending out what came across
as excessively angry e-mails.

Please don't put words or opinions into my mouth, especially when it prolongs
a thread that everybody involved was rather hoping would die off naturally.

I think they've sorted that out between themselves; let's not be putting
words in other people's mouths here either.

I was more trying to point out that the best way to deal with public lists
is not to take them personally; a lot of the people posting to this list
do so in spare moments between their "real work" so if something drops into
somebody's mailbox at a bad moment, you're going to get a snappy reply -
but it's well worth being able to filter the snappiness out because
underneath it is often very useful technical information.

Toby, if you took my comments as "condoning" flaming you, I'm terribly sorry;
my original aims were only constructive.
