[Catalyst] Perl version jump 5.8.0 -> 5.8.1

Hello,

I'm using Catalyst on a server with only Perl 5.8.0 and Cat 5.56
installed. Now I wanted to upgrade to 5.57:

ERROR: perl: Version 5.008 is installed, but we need version >= 5.008001
at inc/Module/Install/Makefile.pm -
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.6/Module/Install/Makefile.pm line 82.
[ERROR] Could not run '/usr/bin/perl Makefile.PL': ERROR: perl: Version
5.008 is installed, but we need version >= 5.008001 at
inc/Module/Install/Makefile.pm -
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.6/Module/Install/Makefile.pm line 82.
 -- cannot continue


Why does Cat now need v5.8.1?

And why is that "/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.6/" standing there - I
don't have this dir...

Is this all Module::Install's fault?
