[Catalyst] CDBI/ Scaffolding, etc

Greetings,

I've been writing a few different apps w/ Catalyst
and am very happy.  I've been doing some reading and 
seeing posts here about CDBI and scaffolding.  I'm trying to
wrap my head around how to use them.

My app uses PostgreSQL, and I'd like to create listings 
of data, sortable by columns, and displayed a page at a time.
Is this something CDBI and scaffolding will help me out with?
If so, is there a good place to go read about it to get
started?
