[Catalyst] Why Catalyst instead of Ruby on Rails?

The most obvious reason: "I know Perl. I don't know /(Ruby|Python)/."
Just this last week, I've started watching all of the RoR movies and
coding demos. My impression thus far is that Catalyst is much much
cleaner in terms of keeping stuff out of the views.
